It is midnight. You can’t sleep. You want to prove to yourself that you can do it. So what do you do? You write. You write a short story and shameless throw in some already written copy from your newspaper’s Dear Santa letters.
That is what happened with Dear Santa From Me.
As the story developed, it appeared that the character of Frankie could have been more detailed and perhaps more background written on her and her family. Frankie was used as a vehicle to get a point across – BELIEF in yourself, belief in God, belief in dreams, belief in the spirit of Christmas, belief there is good in everyone is a vital KEY to inner peace and happiness.
It is a simple as that. Adding the actual letters from Santa Claus was just a plus. Children are prime examples of why believing in such as mentioned in the third paragraph of this review is an OK thing.
It is an easy read and probably could have used a little more formatting and editing, but it is out there. Check it out.
