Should you be allowed to review your own book? Maybe not very good thing to do, but I thought why not? It is just a little book – no more than 56 pages.

Everyone writes these days about law enforcement. We have seen a siege on police officers, sheriff’s deputies and state troopers as of late. The death toll seems to be rising of LEOs who have been shot – some just wounded and some killed as a result of being on the job, and in a few cases – out of planned attacks.

For more than a year, I had the opportunity to work at a police department. I had the chance to observe, to view and understand just what the “Thin Blue Line” is. Combining that knowledge along with interviews done over the last few years with different police officers, school police officers and deputies, Behind the Thin Blue Line, came into play.

Not all LEOS are nice. Not all LEOs are ethical. Not all LEOs play by the rules. In this materialistic world we live in today, can we say that all teachers, doctors, politicians, journalists or preachers are nice, ethical or play by the rules either?

Even the mean ones don’t deserve the treatment they have been given by national media and by those who have launched vicious attacks on LEOs.

This book is just to show the reality of the world that LEOs do live in. They they are human just like you and I.
