David Dunn came home to his Texas roots to launch the CD ‘Yellow Balloons’ in February.

‘Yellow Balloons’ is Dunn’s sophomore project. The album is  full of passion and of  sharing God’s blessings and promises with pepperings in of Dunn’s own walk with God- including healing from the tragedy that took the life of his young niece.

From the main single – ‘I wanna go back’ to ‘Yellow Balloons,’ the ten musical epistles reveal the reality of life that each of us as Christians (and non-Christians) face daily. The lyrics of each song seem to be part of a journal – a personal diary of every believer as they strive to walk along side God, and sometimes get distracted by the cracks, crevices and ‘pretty colors’ that the world offers and tempts with.

Dunn puts it out there simply – there are not always answers to what we face, life is not meant to be comfortable, and we make things more complicated than they really need to be.

David Dunn’s Yellow Balloons is an album that just tells it like it is without a lot of fluff. Jesus loves us and that is enough.
